Christian's friends, the organic hip-hop combo the MUNDARTISTEN was responsible for major parts of the soundtrack in "CHRIGU".

The Mundartisten is a Swiss Band, whose experimental tones and distinctive styles contributed to a remarkable and outstanding reputation within the Swiss-German hip-hop region. The combo consists of seven musicians and was founded in 2001. One of the major strength of the Mundartisten are their live concerts with an amazing on-stage presence. However, experimenting with electronical devices and studio recording is a big part of their work.

Three published albums (most recently: Blauäugig, Aurora Music, 2006) and different side projects prove of the band's creativity, which goes beyond boundaries of traditional music genres.

Besides the combo, MC KNACKEBOUL (Album: Red und Antwort, TBA, 2006) and Fabio (Masi; Album: 2nd Shape, Watermelon Entertainment, 2004) are currently occupied with very promising and interesting projects. Further members are KWEST (drums/design), Chocolococolo (MC/beatbox/guitar), E2 (MC), Klon (keys) and DJ Matrat (turntables).

For the soundtrack of the movie CHRIGU, the Mundartisten were using their broad archive to find the matching tones to the specific shots. In addition, they were also compositioning new tracks especially for the movie CHRIGU, inspired by their close friendship with Christian. Christian was not only living together with the Mundartisten, he was also their "Band-cameraman" and continuously accompanying them on tours.
Besides the Mundartisten, WhyNot-Recordings was accounting for the soundtrack of the first scene which plays in India.

The soundtack CD of CHRIGU will be published in fall 2007 (Distributor: Aurora Music).
